Performance Marketing Partner for India's Largest QSR Chain
Wow! Momo is an Indian chain of fast food restaurants headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, specializing in momos, a dumpling popular in Nepal, Tibet and India. Meraqi helped the brand with one of their campaigns, Delhi ka Momomania and further continued to lend Digital Marketing Services for various campaigns and paid promotions.
Wow Momo introduced Veg and Non-Veg Momos at the price of Rs. 49 and Rs. 59 respectively in Delhi, leading to a four month long campaign - Delhi Ka Momomania. The brief was to spread awareness about this campaign and reach as many people as people in the Delhi NCR region highlighting three features - health, hygiene and price. We achieved this with a mix of organic and paid media. A series of organic posts were done with different concepts throughout the duration of the campaign. Along with that, sponsored ads were run in various formats - Youtube bumper ads, Facebook banners, Instagram banners, Instagram stories, Google Display ads. This led to Delhi Ka Momomania becoming very popular in the Delhi NCR region and the campaign became synonymous with three words - health, hygiene and price. Overall, people started demanding for the offer to be released in other cities also on social media and engagement levels on the Instagram and Facebook page saw an organic increase of 10%.
The campaign led to a large number of enquiries flowing in from all channels. To seamlessly handle all enquiries and not lose out on potential leads, we worked with OK Play’s internal team to deploy use of third party tools to assemble leads coming from various digital channels into one place to make it easier for the sales team. In just one month, the conversion ratio of enquiries to hot leads increased from 10% to 15%.
With the success of this campaign, we then also helped the brand promote its various different offers in various parts of the country via effective media planning and strategy, leading to an increase in their sales.
We planned and successfully executed a campaign for Women’s Day - #EquallyWow, which highlighted the importance of gender equality through a series where we redesigned common signs for an equal world.
