End to End Digital Transformation
Chemtex Speciality Limited is a Calcutta based company, into the manufacturing of speciality chemicals. They mainly work with B2B clients PAN India, and as the name suggests – they are Chemical Technology Experts. They were looking for a one stop solution to help them with their end to end marketing needs during the pandemic to help with the sudden upsurge of demand for sanitizers and disinfectants. We helped them with a website to directly sell to B2C and B2B customers.
Owing to the situation, the key was to make everything digital and also automate the process to reduce backend work. We built an eCommerce solution on their existing website with a fully customisable backend panel for eCommerce operations.
Meraqi not only completed the whole visual language for the brand – logo, packaging, sales and other marketing collateral within a few days, creating a one of its kind offering to consumers not done by any chemical company before. True to our offering of achieving digital excellence via digital transformation – we coordinated with their various internal teams (finance, logistics, support) etc to set them up with the right platforms and also provided adequate training.
The setup was done, but what was left was complete marketing for these new products which no one had heard about. Meraqi created a marketing plan with the judicious mix of various media platforms and started the marketing on platforms like Google, Facebook, Instagram, Email Marketing. All these platforms with their various formats were utilised to drive traffic to the website for purchases along with a massive push for brand awareness.
In 45 days we were able to drive 180,000 page views, with a conversion rate of 0.40% with more then 400 orders on site with an AOV of 14k / order. These are only figures through eCommerce, we were also able to drive a lot of B2B enquiries which drove up the revenue by 25x of online revenue.
We continue to market the products of Chemtex via paid and organic campaigns on digital platforms, design their required print assets and handle their social media to build brand awareness and promote the products.
