Mumbai/Kolkata, 5th April 2022: Meraqi Digital, an independent digital marketing consultancy and service providing agency based out of Kolkata, has bagged the digital mandate of WOW! Chicken, a new brand from WOW! Momo. WOW! Chicken has stepped foot into the F&B industry and promises to offer an assorted mix of chicken items in a range of flavours, be it fried or grilled.

 

As part of the mandate, Meraqi Digital will be responsible for managing and enhancing the brand’s digital properties, which include social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram along with SEO, SEM and media buying.

Wow! Chicken is a QSR chain from the house of F&B giant, Wow! Momo. It came to fruition when the founders decided to tap into another segment of the food industry by using chicken as the base of their menu to Indianise the concept of serving fried and grilled chicken. They plan to establish about 100 mid-sized outlets across cities in the next couple of years. India being a chicken-eating country amongst the non-vegetarians, the founders felt there was no fun way of serving chicken and no tough competition for existing brands, which compelled them to start something new.
